Video hosting for Claude
Claude can build your site and wire video straight into it - players, galleries, course pages, the lot. The video files themselves belong on a proper streaming store, not a web host. Here is how to do it right, and how to register interest in a managed video bolt-on.
What “video hosting for Claude” means
There are two halves to putting video on a website, and it helps to keep them apart. First, the site itself - the pages, the video player, the gallery, the course layout, the paywall. Second, where the actual video files live and stream from. Claude is brilliant at the first half: describe what you want and it builds the player and wires it into your pages on your domain. The second half - storing and streaming large video files - is a job for purpose-built infrastructure.
Trying to serve video straight off an ordinary web host is slow, expensive and tends to fall over under load - no adaptive bitrate, no global edge, no proper streaming. So the right pattern is: Claude builds the experience, and the video streams from a store designed for it. That gives you fast, reliable playback and a site that Claude can keep updating by conversation.
Claude builds the player
Responsive players, video galleries, course pages and lazy-loading - wired into your site and styled to match.
Streams from a real store
The files live on infrastructure built for video, so playback is fast and holds up under load.
SEO done properly
VideoObject schema, captions and thumbnails so your videos can show up in search.
Yours, and updatable
It is your site on your domain, and Claude can change the layout any time you ask.
Two ways to get video on your site
Depending on what you need, there are two routes - and Claude can build either one for you.
1. Embed from a video CDN (available today)
Host your video on a dedicated streaming service - Cloudflare Stream, Bunny, Mux, or YouTube/Vimeo - and Claude embeds it into your Claude CMS site: the player, the gallery, lazy-loading and VideoObject schema, all wired up for you. Best for most sites, and you can start now.
2. Managed video bolt-on (register interest)
For people who want their video files held and streamed for them, we are looking at a managed bolt-on built on enterprise object storage (Google Cloud Storage or AWS S3) with a CDN in front. If that is what you need, register your interest below and tell us a little about your library - it helps us decide what to build.

Why not just put videos on web hosting?
It is a fair question, and the honest answer is that ordinary web hosting - including the managed hosting behind Claude CMS - is not built to be a video store. Standard plans run on a fair-use basis: generous for pages, images and a normal site, but not intended for hosting or streaming video libraries, large media archives or file distribution.
Even where the storage fits, the playback experience suffers: no adaptive bitrate, no global edge caching, and a single big file can saturate the bandwidth your whole site depends on. A dedicated video service solves all of that - which is exactly why route 1 above leans on one. If you would rather we managed that part for you, that is what the bolt-on in route 2 is for.

Video hosting for Claude - common questions
Can Claude host my videos?
Claude builds the site and the video player and wires everything into your pages, but the video files are best stored on a dedicated streaming service rather than on an ordinary web host. Claude embeds that video into your site so playback is fast and reliable.
Does Claude CMS include video storage?
Not as standard - the managed hosting behind Claude CMS runs on a fair-use basis and is not intended for hosting or streaming video libraries. Today the recommended route is to stream from a video CDN, which Claude wires into your site. A managed video storage bolt-on is something we are exploring - register your interest above.
Which video services can Claude embed?
Any of the main ones - Cloudflare Stream, Bunny, Mux, YouTube and Vimeo. Claude builds the responsive player, the gallery and the VideoObject schema, and embeds your video from whichever service you use.
What would the managed video bolt-on be?
The idea is a managed option where we hold and stream your video for you, built on enterprise object storage such as Google Cloud Storage or AWS S3 with a CDN in front. It is demand-led - if enough people need it we will build it, so registering interest genuinely helps.
