What is a LinkedIn connector?
A LinkedIn connector is an integration that links an app — in this case Claude, via MCP — to LinkedIn's API so it can act on your behalf. With the Claude CMS LinkedIn connector, that means drafting and publishing posts to your profile or company pages directly from a Claude conversation, authorised over OAuth.
How do I connect Claude to LinkedIn?
Sign in to Claude CMS, open the connectors panel and choose LinkedIn. You'll be redirected to LinkedIn to approve the OAuth scopes; once approved, the connector appears as a tool Claude can use in your chats. The whole flow takes under a minute.
Can Claude post to a LinkedIn company page?
Yes — if your LinkedIn account is an administrator of the company page, the connector can publish organisation updates to it as well as posts to your personal profile.
Does Claude post anything without my approval?
No. Every publish is an explicit tool call you see and approve in the conversation. You can also revoke the connector's LinkedIn access at any time from your LinkedIn settings.
