Ship with Royal Mail, without the typing
Orders from your Claude CMS store flow into Royal Mail Click & Drop as they are paid: name, address, items and weight already filled in. Print the label, drop the parcel, and the customer hears from you when it goes.
Paid orders are pushed to your Click & Drop account with recipient, line items and weights, and the store keeps the Royal Mail reference against the order. Default service and parcel format are set per store, so labels need no editing.
Orders that take themselves to Click & Drop
Every UK store ends up in Click & Drop one way or another. This is the way that involves no retyping, no spreadsheets and no postcode typos.
Orders are created in Click & Drop by the store, not by a browser extension or a CSV, so the address is the one the customer typed at checkout and the weight is the one on the product.
Orders straight into Click & Drop
Every paid order appears in your Click & Drop account with the delivery address, items and weight filled in. No copying, no CSV imports, no typos in postcodes.
Labels in seconds
Pick the service and print. Because the order arrived with its weight and format, the right label is one click away, and batches print together on busy days.
Your services, your defaults
Set the service you normally use, Tracked 24, Tracked 48 or Special Delivery, and the parcel format, and each order arrives ready to go. Change either on a single order when you need to.
Dispatch that tells the customer
Mark an order dispatched and the customer hears from you, from your own address, with the Royal Mail reference once you add it. The where-is-my-parcel messages stop.
Shipping rates that make sense
Charge what Royal Mail charges, add a handling fee, or offer free delivery over a threshold. Rates are set by zone and weight in the admin, and Claude can change them for you.
International too
International Tracked and Signed services by zone, priced from Royal Mail's current list, so selling beyond the UK does not mean a second shipping setup.
Your Royal Mail account, connected at setup
You keep your own Royal Mail Click & Drop account and its prices. We connect the store to it when we set your store up.
The store holds the API key for your Click & Drop account and creates orders through Royal Mail's order import; nothing is routed through a marketplace account, so your own account prices apply.
Tell us your Royal Mail details
Choose Royal Mail as your carrier when you set the store up. If you do not have a Click & Drop account yet, Royal Mail opens one in minutes, free.
We connect it
We link the store to your account and set your default service and parcel format. You never paste an order again.
Ship
Orders appear in Click & Drop as they are paid. Print, pack, drop at the Post Office or book a collection.
What you need
A Royal Mail Click & Drop account (free; a business account adds account prices and collections), and your usual service and parcel format.
How you pay for postage
To Royal Mail, exactly as now, on your own Click & Drop account. Postage never passes through us.
What it costs
The Royal Mail connection is part of the Setup + Monthly plan. Postage is at your Royal Mail rates and we add nothing on top.
Shipping, in plain English
Claude runs the shop through the same tools the admin uses, so anything you would click through, you can also just say.
Connected orders, or copy and paste
Most small stores get orders into Click & Drop by retyping them or importing a spreadsheet. Here is what changes.
| Claude CMS | Typing orders in | CSV import | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Getting orders into Click & Drop | Automatic, as each order is paid | One at a time, by hand | Export, tidy, import, every day |
| Address and postcode errors | None; the customer typed it once | Whenever you are tired | Whenever a column shifts |
| Weight and format on the label | From the products, already set | Guessed at the counter | Only if the spreadsheet had them |
| Asking Claude to run it | Yes | No | No |
Postage is charged by Royal Mail at your account rates whichever way orders get there. The saving here is your time.
Royal Mail on Claude CMS — common questions
Do I need a Royal Mail business account?
No. A standard Click & Drop account works. A business account adds account prices and collections, and connects in exactly the same way.
Which services can I use?
Whatever your Click & Drop account offers: Tracked 24, Tracked 48, Special Delivery, Signed For and the International Tracked and Signed services. You set a default and change it on any single order.
Can I still send some orders another way?
Yes. Orders reach Click & Drop ready to label, but nothing is printed until you choose to. Use a courier for the awkward parcel and Royal Mail for the rest.
What if I need to change an order after it has synced?
Edit it in Click & Drop before you print. The label is created there, not in the store, so the last word is always yours.
Do customers get tracking?
When you add the Royal Mail reference to the order, or mark it dispatched with it, the customer receives it by email from your own address.
Is postage cheaper through Claude CMS?
No, and we do not pretend otherwise. You pay Royal Mail directly at your account rates. What you save is the time spent retyping orders and correcting addresses.
If it has an API, we’ll build the connection
Every other platform answers this question with “is there an app for that?” We answer it by writing the connection. There is no app store here, so nothing has to be popular enough for someone else to build it first, and there is no extra subscription at the end of it.
Your site is your own PHP/MySQL, not a sandbox, so an integration is ordinary server code against the vendor’s API rather than whatever a marketplace app is permitted to reach. Credentials are deposited encrypted in your account area and used server-side only.
Anything with a documented API
Accounting, inventory, CRM, booking, couriers, marketplaces, your own internal system. If it publishes an API, it can be connected.
Built for your workflow
Not the generic version that suits a hundred thousand shops. The one that matches how you actually work, because it is written for you.
No app store, no app bill
Connections come with your plan. No per-app subscription stacking up month after month, and no revenue share on your sales.
Early customers keep this. Connections are included on your plan for as long as you stay on it. If we ever charge separately for them, it will not be for the people who backed us early — you keep what you signed up for.
Tell us the tool and what you need it to do. If it genuinely cannot be done — no API, or the vendor does not allow it — we will say so rather than sell you a workaround.
Royal Mail shipping comes with every store
The Setup + Monthly plan includes the store, checkout and the Royal Mail connection for one flat monthly price. No per-label fees, no shipping add-on to buy.
