Dropshipping with Claude CMS

Sell products your suppliers send for you. Link each product to the drop-shipper who ships it, and every paid order goes to them as one email in your branding, with only their items and the delivery address. The tracking comes straight back onto the order. Your store, your domain, and no fee taken from your sales.

Drop-shippers are a location type in your store’s Business Details. Each product links to one, with their SKU and their cost. Paid orders are split per drop-shipper and sent from your own mail account (Google or SMTP), once per order, and a no-login Add tracking form writes the carrier and tracking number back onto it.

Your suppliers ship. You keep the customer.

Dropshipping is built into the Claude CMS store, next to your orders, stock and shipping. There is no app to install and no extra service in the middle.

🏭

Add your drop-shippers

In Business Details, add each supplier as a drop-shipper with the email address their orders should go to. Add as many as you work with.

Link your products

Choose the drop-shipper for each product they send, with their own SKU and what they charge you. Products you send yourself stay exactly as they are.

📨

Orders go straight out

When an order is paid, each drop-shipper gets one email with only their items. Press Send, or switch on automatic sending and new paid orders go out every few minutes.

One email per supplier,
in your branding

Each drop-shipper gets a clean order email from your own address: your logo, colours and footer, the order number, their items with their SKUs and quantities, and where to send them.

  • ✓Only their items. A supplier only sees their own lines, never the rest of the order.
  • ✓Your words. Change the subject, heading, opening, button label and closing on the Emails page, right next to your other store emails.
  • ✓Never sent twice. A drop-shipper receives an order once, however many times Send is pressed. If a send fails, the reason shows on the order with Send again.
  • ✓From your address. It goes out through the email you connect, Google or SMTP, so replies come back to you.

Add tracking

An example. The words around the order are yours to change.

Tracking comes back on its own

The drop-shipper presses Add tracking in their email and types the carrier and tracking number. No account, no login. It lands on the order straight away.

📦

No supplier accounts

Add tracking opens a simple form. Suppliers enter the carrier and number and they are done. If they reply by email instead, add it to the order yourself.

Your customer hears from you

Tick Email the customer when tracking is added and your customer gets one “on its way” email with the tracking, sent from your address.

📊

Margins on every line

Each paid order is grouped by drop-shipper, with what each part costs you and your margin. Leave a cost blank and the product’s own cost price is used.

Dropship some products, send the rest yourself

Products left as Not drop-shipped are sent by you as usual, so one order can be part supplier, part you. If you also push orders to Veeqo, the order page warns you so the same items are not packed twice.

Starting without stock

Try new products without buying inventory up front: list them, sell them, and let your supplier send them.

Extending your range

Add a supplier’s range next to the products you already pack, without changing how you send your own orders.

Partner-made products

Work with makers, printers and wholesalers who post orders for you, each with their own order email.

Good to know. Stock for drop-shipped products is still counted on your default location, and sending to a drop-shipper does not change the order’s own status: mark it shipped in Your Store once every part has gone.

Work with a dropshipping marketplace from Claude

Alongside your own suppliers, you can connect a dropshipping marketplace and go through its catalogue with Claude: what to stock, at what price, and what is selling.

Avasam

The UK dropshipping marketplace. Add your Avasam keys in Connections and Claude can look through the supplier catalogue, compare cost and suggested retail prices, check stock and keep an eye on your Avasam orders, all in a conversation.

Zendrop

Zendrop runs its own connector for Claude. Add it next to Claude CMS and Claude can use both in the same chat: find a product in Zendrop, then set it up in your store.

Switch it on in four steps

Dropshipping is part of the store builder plan and is being switched on store by store.

01

Ask us to switch it on

Get in touch and we turn dropshipping on for your store.

02

Connect your email

Orders go out from your own address, so connect Google email or SMTP first. Nothing is sent without one.

03

Add suppliers and link products

Add each drop-shipper in Business Details, then link the products they send, with their SKU and cost.

04

Send, or let it run

Send each paid order by hand, or tick Send new paid orders automatically. Only orders paid from that moment are sent.

Dropshipping with Claude CMS — common questions

What is dropshipping in Claude CMS?

It lets a supplier pack and send some of your products straight to your customers. You link each product to the drop-shipper who sends it; when an order is paid, each drop-shipper gets an email with only their items and the delivery address, and the tracking comes back onto the order.

Is dropshipping available on my store now?

Dropshipping is being switched on store by store. Get in touch and we will turn it on for yours. It is part of the store builder plan, with nothing extra to install.

Do my suppliers need an account?

No. Each order email has an Add tracking button that opens a simple form for the carrier and tracking number. If a supplier replies by email instead, you can add the tracking to the order yourself.

Can I mix dropshipped products with ones I send myself?

Yes. Products left as Not drop-shipped are sent by you as usual, so one order can be split between you and one or more drop-shippers. Each drop-shipper only receives their own items.

Can a supplier receive the same order twice?

No. A drop-shipper only ever receives an order once, however many times Send is pressed. If a send fails, the reason shows on the order with a Send again button.

Can orders go to my suppliers automatically?

Yes. Tick Send new paid orders automatically and new paid orders go to their drop-shippers every few minutes. Only orders paid from the moment you switch it on are sent, and a send that fails waits for you rather than retrying.

Does my customer get the tracking?

If you tick Email the customer when tracking is added, your customer gets one on-its-way email with the tracking as soon as the drop-shipper adds it, sent from your own address.

What do I need before I can send orders?

A connected email account, Google or SMTP, because orders go out from your own address and nothing is sent without one. Then add your drop-shippers in Business Details and link the products they send.

How do I see my margin?

When you link a product you enter what the drop-shipper charges you, and the margin shows against your price. On each paid order, items are grouped by drop-shipper with what each part costs you and your margin. Leave the cost blank to use the product’s own cost price.

Does sending to a drop-shipper change my stock or the order status?

Stock for drop-shipped products is still counted on your default location, and sending does not change the order’s own status. Mark the order shipped in Your Store once every part has gone.

Sell more. Pack less.
